The first circle of the Daughters of Isabella was founded in New Haven, Connecticut in 1897 as an auxiliary of the Reverand John Russell Council of the Knights of Columbus. It was established for the purpose of uniting all Catholic women in sisterhood to achieve the goals of knowing one another better, extending our circle of friends, and to centralize all our resources to better help one another.
Our circle was started on July 15, 1962 and our motto is Unity, Friendship, and Charity.
